U16Vipers-Elite Team Building – Team Pyramid Of Success 2012

Tuesday, September 4, 2012, 5:24PM

The Greater Boston Viper U16 coaching staff determined that this year they were going to implement a “NEW PROCESS” when developing the overall season outline.

The decision was to incorporate the “TEAM MEMBERS” into the creation and overall development process of the upcoming season outline. The players willingly embraced this concept and quickly recognized the importance of a structurally designed program and all aspects that come into play when determining the final overall outline. This experiment was completed and implemented during a weekend team building camp and the debate and dialogue was very educational for all parents, coaches and players on hand. The mutual conclusion was that when given the opportunity to have your voice heard and play an avid role in the development of a process that ownership and accountability will now be adopted in order to make this season a productive beneficial season for all involved.

“ The fundamental key is to make sure the team members are working with you, not for you”…               John Wooden UCLA

U16Vipers-Elite Team Building 3 – Prospect Mountain Challenge

Tuesday, September 4, 2012, 4:08PM

The Greater Boston Vipers U16 team recently accepted the challenge and climbed and conquered Prospect Mountain in Waltham Massachusetts.

Again, with Bedford Police SWOT Leader Jeff Vincuilla at the forefront the U16 Vipers embraced this experience and worked together to achieve all field drills with a “TEAM FIRST” mindset.

The training exercises consisted of a direct top/bottom timed team run with 15pound nugget passes in hand between teammates as well as many on mountain terrain climbing drills.

The practiced finally wrapped with some fun group military field cardio strength and conditioning exercises during all taking place on an extremely hot summer 90 degree day in August!

The primary emphasis with this strategically designed training session was to implement and inject a “TEAM FIRST” mindset to all activities!

Our goal was to turn potential individuals into respected dependable teammates all focusing and working to achieve the same mutually beneficial goals and objectives!

“Leadership rises to the forefront when faced with obstacles and challenges…

This was a great way to test each participants individual character, work ethic and commitment to TEAM!”…  SWOT Trainer Jeff Vinciulla
