Tom grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts, and currently lives in South Boston with his three children: Jack, Luke, and Sloane. He is a graduate of Springfield Cathedral High School (2000) and the Kent School (2001), where he played hockey and baseball. Tom has coached with South Boston Youth Hockey since 2020. He has coached at the Mite, Squirt, and Pee Wee levels. He also coaches baseball. Eric grew up in Marblehead, MA and now lives in Charlestown with his wife and their two sons. He played hockey since age 4 and also played lacrosse through college and soccer through high school. Eric has played and coached a variety of sports throughout his life and appreciates the importance of being a well-rounded athlete,
Eric has a USA hockey level 3 coaching certification with completed training in U8, U10 and U12 age groups. As a coach, Eric strives to rapidly develop players' confidence, teamwork, hockey sense and spatial awareness, and technical skills in competitive, dynamic, and fun practice and game environments.

Dan grew up in Danvers and played in Danvers Youth Hockey for 13 years. He played his high school hockey at Danvers High School and was a member of the 1994 MIAA State Championship team. He also played baseball in high school. He is a member of the Danvers High School Blue and White Club Hall of Fame.
Dan has coached hockey for several years at the Learn to Play, Mite and Squirt levels for Danvers Youth Hockey. He currently holds a USA Hockey Level 3 coaching certification with completed training at the 8U and 10U levels. He has also coached baseball for several years for Danvers American Little League.
Dan is looking forward to fostering a fun, positive, and memorable environment for the kids while emphasizing development at both the team and individual level.

Paul grew up and resides in Peabody, MA with his wife and two children, Nolan and Kallie. He is a graduate of Arlington Catholic, where he played four years of varsity hockey and baseball (2003-2006) and went on to play junior hockey.
Paul was an assistant coach for the NS Wings in 2022, and has been the assistant coach of the Vipers for the past two years. With many years of volunteering with youth hockey, he has truly enjoyed teaching young kids how to play, along with growing their love for the sport. With a focus on skill development and a positive environment both on and o the ice, he is looking forward to fostering a strong team.

Will Lewis will be coaching the 2014 team for the 2026-27 season.
Will grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York where he was active in sports: competitive martial arts, baseball, soccer, & hockey. His love of hockey flourished while playing two years of high school varsity hockey, and three years with his college club at Penn State.
Will has coached ice hockey since 2019 at the learn to play, mite development, and travel hockey levels. He's been involved in coaching multiple sports over the years. Will's currently coaches travel youth soccer and baseball. He holds a Level 4 USA Hockey coaching certification, and is also certified with USA Baseball, USA Soccer, and the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Medford, MA has been Will's home for the past 20 years, where he lives with his wife Christine, their son William (10), and daughter Violet (2).

The Vipers are pleased to announce Joe Haggerty as the 2013-GOLD Coach for the 2026-27 season.
Joe was born and raised in Stoneham and played football and baseball as a youth, but grew up all around the sport of hockey with a deep family history in the sport. His passion for hockey led him to a 20-plus year career as a sportswriter covering the NHL and NCAA Hockey for the Woburn Daily Times, Boston Metro, WEEI.com, NBC Sports Boston, Boston Hockey Now and currently for the Boston Sports Journal.
Haggerty has been a hockey coach with Newton Youth Hockey at all levels from Learn to Play to Peewee travel hockey, and helped lead his teams to VHL championships in 2023 and 2024. Haggerty is currently Level 4 certified with USA Hockey. Haggerty also coached club hockey during the 2022-23 season in the E9 for the Greater Boston Junior Bruins as an assistant coach. He also coaches the South Middlesex Coyotes in the New England Future Stars summer league where his Coyotes team won a Silver Cup championship in 2024. His coaching method is focused on player development, fundamentals, discipline, teamwork and having fun while at the same time building a winning culture within the group.
Haggerty also coaches baseball in the Newton Little League program dating back to 2019.
Haggerty has lived in Newton with his wife Alyssa for the last 15 years with their hockey playing kids, Finnegan (12) and Zoe (10).

The Vipers would like to welcome Chris Monteiro to the Viper family as the 2012 Upper Gold Coach for the 2024-25 season.
Chris lives in Danvers, MA and has been playing hockey since he was 5 years old. He played high school hockey for Ipswich High School until his junior year and then made a switch to basketball where he was the captain his senior year. He was a varsity three sport athlete. Chris was recruited to play basketball at Endicott College where he studied Sports Management with a concentration in coaching. That is where his love for coaching began. He currently coaches his son's hockey team and his daughters Danvers 8th grade basketball team.

Drew grew up in Pepperell, MA and currently living in Wakefield. Drew's main focus as a coach is to help kids realize their full potential as players and growing their love for the game. Drew and his wife have three boys all involved in hockey. "I have loved being part of their development as hockey players and seeing them become as passionate about hockey as I am."
Drew has a USA Hockey Level 4 Coaching Certification with current training ages up to U16. He will adding U18 training for this coming season. He is also a USA Hockey certified referree, which has given Drew a deeper appreciation for the game.

Marc grew up in Barrington, Rhode Island and started playing hockey at age 7. He credits his success in hockey to some of his earliest coaches who demanded accountability and required meticulous technique but meanwhile instilled love of the game. Hockey not only provided him with some of the best experiences, friendships, and mentorships of his life but also provided him with the opportunity to learn critical life lessons.
Marc is currently the Chief Operating Officer of a Boston based retail food business where he manages a team of 90 employees. He lives in Swampscott, MA with his wife, daughter, and twin sons. His passion is watching all 3 of his children as well as other children learn, enjoy, improve, and love the game of hockey the way he does.
