Matt grew up in Medfield, MA and attended the Rivers School and then Tabor Academy.  He continued his hockey journey at Tufts University before persuing pro hockey in Europe for three years.  Today Matt resides in Marblehead with his wife Lindsey, and their children Bowen, Luca, and Maison.
