Vipers hit the ice with speed from the start of this game. Ouellette led the charge offensively with his quick feet and determination.  5 minutes into the 1st period, defensemen Roberts passed to Sasso for the shot. Alyward was on the right corner of the net and took the goaltender by surprise with a quick jab placing the puck past the pipes.    Red Rangers increased their momentum after their 1st goal 30 seconds prior to the end of the 1st period.   They placed some defensive pressure during the first part of the 2nd period and took the lead at 5:16. Robbins and Worthley took control of the next play as Robbins took the puck down ice and passed to Worthley for a deke on the goaltender.  Shortly thereafter, Red Rangers had a breakaway 3 against 1 and Krajeski remained patient and smart and broke the play prior to a shot on goal.   A couple minutes later, Roberts and Worthley made several passes down ice for a goal by Worthley.  At the end of the 2nd period the score was 3-2 in favor of the Vipers.  The third period was a lot of even play.  The Vipers would strike and the Red Rangers would retaliate.  At 10:07 Sargent passed to Perry who placed the puck in front of the net and with strength and perseverance, Sasso placed the puck in goal. At 9:32, Red Rangers scored.  At 8:54 Robbins had a goal assisted by Worthley and at 6:51 Red Rangers scored.  The scoreboard read 5-4.  As a last ditch effort to tie the game, Red Rangers pulled their goaltender.  After an impressive effort, Senier pulled from the fight with the puck and made a shot down ice for the last goal of the game.
