Sargent, Ouellette, Harrison, Haggerty, Maney and Robbins did an excellent job in defense and Andersen preformed some impressive goaltending during the 1st period. Vipers’ offense was moving the puck but the score remained at 0-0 moving into the 2nd period. Two minutes later Defensemen Oullette put the Vipersl on the scoreboard with a powerful shot from the left right through Blazers goaltenders legs. Defense remained strong. At 5:10 Aylward took the puck from the Blazers who then passed to Marshall. Marshall moved the puck past the blue line then passed to Senier. With excellent stick work, Senier attacked on the right side then with a quick move to left tapped the puck into the net for the 2nd goal of the game. The Vipers continued to keep the Blazers from the net. The Blazers picked up momentum in the 3rd period allowing for an increase in even play; however goaltender Devereaux stopped everything that was attempted. Defensemen Marshall scored the final goal with a breakaway 3 minutes left of the game.
